Jeremy will lie to your face about doing the right thing. He will tell your parents what they want to hear, to try to earn their trust, then do completely the opposite. He will never call you after talk about wanting to develope a relationship and will hit on your sister.
I will explain further. August 21st and August 27th, 2007 I slept with Jeremy. One of those days I conceived a child. After August 27th but before September 1st my sister who was visiting out of state came with me to a party at a friend's house. Upon leaving (I was waiting in the car) he hit on my sister, drunk, and asked her for a goodnight kiss. Twice. She slapped him. Twice. He told her the only reason why he slept with me was because he was drunk. Twice.
After that incident I moved out of state for a job interview but had to cut it short as I found out I was pregnant. When I moved back to Lake City in October I told him I was pregnant a couple of weeks after. I told him I wanted to put the child up for adoption and he said no. He said he would take the child if I didn't want it.
After a few phone call conversations I told him there was a chance the child was not genetically his as I broke up with my boyfriend a month before and I had no idea how far along I was. After getting health insurance and seeing a doctor and getting an untrasound, it was confirmed the child was genetically his. I told Jeremy that same day, December 18th.
This is where it starts to get interesting... Sometime between December 18th and New Years he had a two and a half to three hour conversation with my mother on the front porch of his appartment. I was visiting my friend who was also his roommate. In that conversation he told my mother all about his past, about the women he has slept with and the desire to start a relationship with me and introduce me to his family. A relationship was never my idea as I knew he slept around a lot and I was extremely pissed he hit on my sister just DAYS after sleeping with me. But my mother liked him and as she is my best friend I decided I would give it a try.
In the following month he did not return any of my phone calls, was STILL sleeping around with other girls, unprotected of course, still drinking at the bars AFTER he told me he was trying to quit and was going to save his money for when the child comes AND he completely forgot about the doctor's appointment I invited him to on January 15th. He actually did not even come home that night as I was visitng my friend, his roommate, while I waited for my mother to get off of work at 2am. It gets better.
After my doctor's appointment I found out that Jeremy also slept with one of my best friends AFTER he knew I was pregnant and there was a CHANCE he could have contracted an STD. Luckily my blood work had already come back clean so this was not a worry. But as far as I know, Jeremy still has not gotten tested. After all, he stopped returning my phone calls. In the time between the end of January and end of February Jeremy started a new relationship with a friend he had told me was "just a friend" he was trying to help out "cut down on her drinking habits." After hearing that I called Jeremy and left a message saying I was losing his phone number, was never going to call him again and he should do the same. By then I was six months pregnant. He also still did not tell his ex-girlfriend (the one he broke up with a mere two weeks before sleeping with me) that he was the genetic father of my child. She knew I was pregnant, but I was leaving it up to him to tell her.
So in summary: within the six months of my time knowing Jeremy, I got pregnant, I was insulted, I was lied to, I was cheated on and I was forgotten about. I am doing fine on my own and I really hope to never have to see him again. But I want to let other women know about yet another male jerk in the world.
