Welcome to Havering College

This is a guide to help new students through the college.

A welcome from the Principal.

“I am very pleased that you have decided to continue your studies at this College. You are following in the footsteps of thousands of students who have studied here and been extremely successful. One of the reasons for this success is that we have experienced teams of staff who care about the achievements and progress of their students.

Whether you are a full-time or part-time student, and whatever your age or ability we aim to provide you with high quality teaching backed up by an extensive range of student services to support your students. We are justifiably proud of this service, which was described by Further Funding Council Inspectors in their Inspection report of the College in 1997/98 as ‘Outstanding’.

You have, therefore, an excellent opportunity before you. Be sure that you make the most of this. Take advantage of all that is on offer to you, work hard and enjoy your time at college.

Good luck with your studies.
