Brainstorming here to find resolutions to aid the environment and to take our power back from big corporations that have so blatantly hurt the environment.
We need to network more. Our government must come up to speed rapidly before we are unable to clean up the environment and before mother nature takes over. I believe she will if we don't. Don't you think it's incredible that this hasn't taken place already in the form of more catastrophies? That the ones happening now - hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes - that they may be just the beginnings of what our planet will have to do to shake off the mess we have created with the recklessness of 'big oil' and weak governing structures to watch over it?
Ever wonder why we seem to be going broker and broker and inflation is always on the rise? Think big oil and our dependence on fossil fuels is any part of it? Huge amounts of money is spent in shipping groceries and products. Huge amounts of fossil fuel is burned and polluting our atmosphere while moving the products.
Stop transporting the products over vaste areas in huge oil burning ships or find clean ways to transport. How?
We have to watch that distribution methods are ethically and responsibly carried out.
Investing in clean energy and renewable energies is possible through the stock market.*
I think that the best way to support the changes would be to make use of the most educated minds in the world that are on top of the latest science and technology, and to trust our own judgement and perceptions, investing wisely. We are not likely to broached by lobbyists and given personal favors for passing legislation and bills. Let's let the political people know what we want from them.
