Robert Wagner played drums for Econoline Crush after foundation drummer Gregg Leask departed the scene. He played during what many consider to be their best period...the release of the phenominally successful The Devil You Know. He left shortly after and was replaced on the sticks by Niko Quintal

How did you go about joining EC?
I was playing freelance and got a call from (Robbie) Morfitt to come in...
What did it feel like to be recognized as a member of EC?
I was just happy to be in a band... and this one just happened to be Econoline.
Are you proud of what you brought to the band?

Would you like to see EC reform for a final goodbye since we didn't get a last show for EC. Almost somekind of closure for the band and fans?
Tough question. So many members. So much time. Could it happen? I don't know.
Do you think it's great to see that the band still has a great following after all these years?
Yeah! I think it's great!! People should enjoy music for years to come. Great music is timeless.

Where are they Now?: Robert Wagner is now the drummer in a Vancouver band called Tourist. In 2004, they won the CFOX Seeds contest.
Little Known Fact: Robert and The Goon (Ken Fleming) played in a band called Twist right after the EC days fronted by Blaine of Tourist.
