Physical description: Brown eyes, brown hair, a bit on the short side. She would be considered pretty in a small town, but compared to the court beauties she looks plain. She is slowly recovering from a back injury she acquired almost a year before she was chosen; until Kale informed her otherwise, she was quite sure she would never walk again.

Personality: Patient with situations that are out of her control, and patient with people, especially children. If there is a situation where there is something she can do, she acts swiftly and decisively. Although some might think she is endlessly optimistic, she’s not; she considers the worst that can happen as well or more than the best. She just realizes there’s no point in complaining.

Gifts: Companion Mindspeech (Average), Foresight (Strong, but can only control it for local, very near-future events)

Short history: When she was 13, she rode out into a thunderstorm at night to rescue her brother, who should have been home before suppertime; as it turned out, he had broken a leg, and ended up catching chill from the rain. On the way back, she was leading the horse, and he was riding, and she fell into a ravine, suffering several injuries, including her back. Her brother rode home to get help, but she was not rescued until the next morning. The village Healer was able to tell that she had damaged her spine, but not tell the exact extent of the injury, and told her she would likely never walk again. As it turns out, while she may never have full use of her legs, she will heal enough to walk, now that she has access to the House of Healing in Haven.

Companion: Kale (stallion). Big strong dependable type. Rather talkative.
