Cottontail or Stud as he was affectionately known to his friends was a Multi Champion both Inhand and Undersaddle and was awarded Roll of Merit for Halter. Most people remember Stud for his outstanding trot, I have rarely seen a horse with the extension and float that Stud could obtain and to ride to, it was amazing!. I have so much to thank Stud for, Anna kindly gave me the opportunity to show Stud in the ridden classes at the Arab shows, Gymkana's, A&P's and use as my Pony club mount - it was Stud that gave me the taste for the Arabian horse.
Anna Jenkins of Hadif Stud bought Cottontail as a yearling colt and bred him to Highland Rose as a three year old after which he was gelded. From this breeding came the mare Hightail it who is Soda's mum. Unfortunately Stud became unwell and had to put down late 2002 at the age of 20.
Stud will be really missed but lives on in his three Granddaughters Hadif Hi Tazaa (Heybabe), Hadif Cogito Ego Sum (Soda) and partbred (Morab), not to forget his daughter Hightail it.
