U S A 2000
This is a short review on our summer
vacation to
California between 16th and 30th of June 2000.
See our pics from Las Vegas, Yosemite National Park,
San Francisco and Los Angeles.

16.06.00: We started from
Rhein-Main Airport
in Frankfurt and were lucky to get an upgrade from
Air New Zealand to Business Class.
You could see the smile on Lisas face.

17.06.00:
After the first night we enjoyed
a marvellous breakfast with juice, fruits
and self baked quiche.

18.06.00:
After a 500 km ride thru the Mojave Dessert,
we saw the incredible hotels in Las Vegas like the
Venezien, Luxor, Treasure Island, Paris or
New York, New York.

19.06.00:
On this day I enjoyed the ride
on the highest roller coaster in the world (257 m)
on top of the Stratosphere Tower as well as the
Hot Shot and the Sky Screamer to push my adrenalin.

20.06.00:
The contrast to Las Vegas was the beautifull
Mono Lake in the Sierra Nevada.

21.06.00:
The Yosemite Nationapark,
where we spent 3 days, is one of the most
spectacular nature reserves in the world.

22.06.00:
Especially the lookout from
Glacier Point is unbelivieble.

23.06.00:
One of the top tourist attractions
is Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco.

24.06.00:
We are in front of the
Golden Gate bridge with only a little fog.

25.06.00:
The new hostel from Dirk,
which was not ready in time for us.
So we had two interessting days and
nites with Dirk in his private home.
Thanks again.

26.06.00:
Beside the clean white sand beach,
the muscle boys are symbol for Venice Beach.

27.06.00:
Courier service to San Diego and Kat,
who was surprised and happy to see some
citizens from her home town and
get a package from her mom.

28.06.00:
Ice scating with an outside temperature
of 35° Celsius in Los Angeles.

29.06.00:
