| But then, as a reward for all of that awful work you did you get to take it easy again. Sleeping outside in the cockpit under the stars is always a favorite pastime. |

| With provisions and water getting low, we headed back to La Paz, still not sure of how long to stay. The heat answered that for us rather quickly. With temperatures pushing 100 degrees every day, it was time to close up the boat and put her to bed for the summer. We are back home now and working again, Cheri committed to several weeks at the hospitol and me, not allowing myself to be completely self-unemployed, back to remodiling a very patient friends' home. Full-time cruisers, friends and sushi pals, Pat and Carrie Kinnison, of S/V Terra Firma, are back in town, sucked in by an offer to good to turn down from their old employer. They will be here until the fall building up their cruising kitty, that is if they don't spend it all on sushi and wine, two of the things they admitted to missing most while cruising. (Visit their outstanding website at www.svterrafirma.com) What's next? We are attempting to figure that one out ourselves, so keep checking the site to see what's new. |
