| The audience enters the dim lit room and is faced with an electric chair. then an off stage helper brings in a victim to be executed. he set him in the chair and ask the crowd if he is "guilty or innocent?" usually their responce will be guilty at wich time the helper reaches up and throws the switch. lights flash and loud buzzing noises are heard, the victim thrashes around violently and then slumps down and moves no more. is he dead?? of course not! just as things settle down he jumps at the crowd and scares the on out of the room. TIPS: the chair should have some loose straps at the feet and arms. place strobe lights out of sight off stage door bell buzzers should be placednear the audience or on a rail they may lean against plug everything ( strobes and buzzers) into a power strip near the hellper so all the effects work together |
