Blasphemies of the Apocalypses
From the Dust of Ages Horrors Arise From the Studio of Doom
The Night Haunts have finally found a studio evil enough to expose the full limits of their wickedness. The band was contacted by Bokrug and invited to record at his Cavernous Crypt studio. Night Haunts were impressed with Bokrug’s evilness and decided to work with him. The sessions came out so well, the band has decided to scrap previous recordings for their upcoming full-length album and rerecord the entire LP in the Crypt. Songs which have been completed are "Defilement of Ancient Tombs," "Go Forth, You of Nocturnal Torment," "(Dooms and Deaths) Sent on Winds from the Mountains Beyond the Sea (Part I: Dooms, Part II: And, Part III: Deaths)," and a new track, "Heretical Burnings of Virgins on the Eve of the Feast of the Great Old Ones."
"The thing that impressed me about the Crypt was the vibe that we got from it. It is very atmospheric. The studio is just a stone building, deep in the woods out in the middle of nowhere. There are two windows, but the vegetation is so dense very little sunlight gets through. As a result, you have to use candles to maneuver around, which is great. Half of it is underground, so you have to descend these steps. I remember the first time I went in, there was a coffin lying at the bottom of the steps. I said, ‘Wow, this really is a crypt.’ Yig ended up using the coffin for percussion work, to great effect I must say."-Glaurung
"We decided to rerecord our LP with Bokrug because of how well they came out, extremely primal and extremely evil. Before, we would just go into a studio where no one cared about the music, for them it was just a job. There were all these other acts wandering around, pop groups, old hippies, some punk and metal bands, there was even a faux-black metal band who tried to get all buddy-buddy with us, asking us to play shows with them and give them our contacts. They basically had a business plan mapped out. We told them to go to heaven, black metal isn’t a business, it’s a way of life. "-Hastur
Many hails go to Bokrug and to Yig, who provided drum work for the session. Recordings will be up shortly.

Screams From the Black Beyond Coming to a Hellmouth Near You?
Night Haunts of Antiquity is considering playing live shows. The band performed a limited number of times when they first began, but eventually decided to only do studio work. Until now. With the addition of Daoloth (rumbles from beyond salvation), Tulzscha (ivory artifacts of death), and Yig (hellish crossfires on wooden coffins), the band has a complete performance line up. Hastur and Glaurung will maintain complete artistic control of the band.
"Before, when we played our first shows, right away we realized limitations in the presentation. We found that people were unresponsive to the demonic nature of Night Haunts music; people couldn’t handle the evilness of it. So we stopped, for that and other reasons, to concentrate on studio work."-Glaurung
"At the time of our early shows, True Satanic Black Metal was not even heard of in the States. Now that this style of music is known in this area, it would be a good move to play live, in order to show fake black metal people what true black metal is about. There are a lot of fakes out there, people who say they are true but are really just Christians and Communists disguised as black metal, and we need to show them how real black metal is done."-Hastur
"We are not going to become one of those bands who goes out and tours for ten months a year to sell their garbage records. We will never be a beer drinking party band who has sex with groupies and trashes hotel rooms. We are not rock stars; we have one purpose in life, and that is to reach the ultimate state of evil. Now that we are closer than ever before, the next step we need to take is to convert others."-Glaurung
"The stage presentation will be quite simple. All of the lights in the venue will be turned off, and only a few candles will be lit on the stage. Some type of holograph machine will periodically flash a storm against the walls. Nothing fancy, just enough to give the atmosphere necessary to display our evilness. We will not be some dramatic, faux black metal band, performing a Satanic Mass and whatnot. I don’t want to act out some Anton La Vey hocus-pocus. If we do have a sacrifice, it will be real. "-Hastur
"I'm very excited about spreading our message of destruction to the black metal fiends. But we probably won't be performing for a while. There are currently no venues evil enough to host our manifestation."-Glaurung
Show dates will be announced as they are confirmed.

First full-length Wave of Destruction Close to Completion
Night Haunts of Antiquity is in the final stages of recording their first full-length
album, "Rites of the Winter Solstice." Tracks will include newly recorded
versions of songs previously available on their self-released EPs as well as
new material. Rites will be released on their own record label, Malleus Maleficarum
Records, unless another record company is found.
"This album will contain an even more stripped down sound than our EP's. It is beyond old school. We are looking for full carnage, a metaphor for the struggle over Christianity. We want to return to a time when pagan's were in control, and the weak cowered in fear!"-Glaurung
"After 'Dooms and Deaths,' we had reached the ultimate statement of what we stand for. I mean, the song takes up a whole side on vinyl. How can you top it? You can't. So we wanted to go more basic, based more on how we first started out, with evil riffs and evil vocals."-Hastur
"The thing I'm most happy with is the way we went about writing and recording. It wasn't like doing our last two EP's, which had more production and utilized more keyboards, more atmospheric stuff. On this album, we really pushed ourselves to go beyond that, to go into the most primal, primitive music possible."-Glaurung
"Certainly the best track is 'Blood Spilt on Samhain.' It's an epic, but a different kind of epic. I feel it encapsulates our sentiments about the state of the world, past, present, and future. 'To Kill a Zombie' is also very good. It was an old song we did when we first started out, but this is the first time it's appeared on a recording, unless someone has a bootleg of a very early practice or show."-Hastur
"Fans of our previous recordings will appreciate this album. It isn't something you can put on as background music. It's in your face, it's everything. I've put my evil soul into every minute of this recording, as I have always done. It's just that I'm more evil than I was before."-Glaurung

Night Haunts of Antiquity Official Web Site Launched!
Pure decadent evil is now available on the world wide web with the launch of "Blazon Cries from the Pits of Eternal Damnation." I, Anfauglir, the first dark deciple of the Night Haunts of Antiquity, have been with the band since the beginning, and they have commission me to increase the evil legions of Night Haunts around the world.
"Launching an official website is an important step. We can now connect with a great number of people. It's sad, because I'd like to return to mediaeval days, when things were simpler, you roamed the land, you ate, you slept, you pillaged and slaughtered. But today, the Internet is part of the world, part of getting the message out. And anything that spreads the message of Night Haunts of Antiquity is important. I'm glad Anfauglir was here to put it up. He has been with us from the beginning, a true black metal fiend. He has made it more effective to get the word out. I think of it as pillaging the information super highway."-Glaurung
"The Internet is fine and all, if your a loser who likes to jack off to kiddie porn. I couldn't care less about our website, my only interest is evil."-Hastur
