| I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Georgia, when on the second day, we decided to visit a haunted mansion. I was 11 at the time, so I don't remember exactly where the house is situated. We went around the house, until, we reached a haunted room, our guide told us that a woman had died in this room. The guide then said that a servant was at her side crying, while the woman and her baby died. After the tour, we were allowed to look around the rooms. So I went alone into the haunted room. While I was there, I decided I wanted to look at something inside a drawer, this mansion was very old, and I wanted to see if maybe this woman had some cool things from the past. I opened a desk with a tea cup on it. I opened the drawer and the tea cup rattled violently. When I closed the drawer and backed away, it stopped, but it began to rattle again. At first, I thought it was my movements, because I really didn't believe in ghosts. The rattling continued as I stood completely still. I began getting frightened, so I got my mom. My mom and I stood in front of the tea cup motionless. It began rattling again. My mom gasped, "Oh my god." And we continued watching it. I became even more frightened, and my mom left. It suddenly stopped. I went to the fire place. I caught something out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a calcium stain. It looked like a woman with a baby and a man bowing to her. I started getting freaked out. I then walked to the bed and put my hand on the pillow. It was warm. I jumped back. Feeling really frightened. As I walked away, the tea cup began rattling again. I felt a strong presence behind me. I slowly turned around. Nothing was there, but I heard a soft whisper, very hard to hear next to me. It said, "Please, help me." I freaked and ran out of the room. I went to my parents and we left, I was very glad to leave. |
