The following web pages were put together with the help of Enno Berg from Cologne (Koln) Germany. Enno is an author and explorer of the WW1 Alpen front and also Captain of the Koln fire department. Enno's interest in mountain climbing and exploration is partly due to his grandfather being a mountain trooper during WW1.
Enno authored "Kanonendonner uber dem Gailtal 1915-1917" which translates to " Cannon Thunder and the Eastern Alps 1915-1917"
