According to  "Adjustierungsvorschrift fr das k.u.k. Heer", Wien 1910" there were four Austro-Hungarian boot variations. Three ankle boots and one full size boot. There was a standard boot for infantry, a boot for mountain troops, a light boot made using sail cloth and a full size leather boot.

I want to thank Christian Frech for providing information making this section possible.

AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN BOOTS OF WORLD WAR ONE
Pictured would be the standard Austro-Hungarian infantry boot of WW1. Due to shortages there were also endless variations of boots and shoes worn. Private purchase shoes were quite common.
