| Austro-Hungarian canteen variations were endless mostly due to a canteen shortage and the multitude of "private purchase" canteens. "Official" versions were produced by"private" factories so it's very common to notice many minor color and dimensional differences. A lot of canteens were also made or modified "in the field" by troops. |
