For Immediate Release - Psychic Claims Hated Husbands Suffer in the Afterlife

San Francisco – Hated husbands are forever on the run, a noted psychic reports today, even in the afterlife. Alexandria Contessa-Romona announced an alarming pattern in her readings. "Hated Husbands do no better after death" she said. "They are hated by their wives everywhere their souls travel."

Contessa-Romona has conducted 3,000 readings since 1962. In many cases, she says, the Hated Husband continues to be hounded even after he has left this Earthly Plane. The harangues, complaints, and insults "live on" she said, "even as the wife herself has long since passed."

Contessa-Romona offered as an example Suduwa Harmashi, an itinerant laborer who died in 203 B.C. in what is now Alexandria, Egypt. Harmashi reported in a recent reading that the spirit of his wife, Hudwetha, who died in 199 B.C., searched for him the moment she ascended the Heavenly Steps. Upon finding his spirit, which was dwelling in inter-dimensional space near the constellation Sirius, she called him a "spirit without substance" and reminded him of his many faults when he was incarnated on Earth. However, because there are no dishes to break or furniture to smash in the inter-dimensional realm, Hudwetha's options are limited to following Harmashi's spirit everywhere it goes.

Other hated husbands still fleeing in the Afterlife include General Westmoreland-Scott (died in London, 1877), Adolph Berliwitz (a shoemaker who died in Berlin in 1955), and Yu-Wan Choo (a rice farmer who died in Hunan Province, China in 1923). The case of Choo is interesting, Contessa-Romona said, because he had three wives who profoundly hated him. "The man is suffering. There is nothing he can do. Nothing at all. Sadly, his spirit is constantly on the run," Contessa-Romona said. According to Contessa-Romona, even reincarnation cannot help the Plight of the Hated Husband's Spirit. "They try to come back to earth as anything - a beetle, a sea animal, even a virus. But they can never escape. The Hating Wife is not far behind."

This is Horace Mandy (1883-1947). Mandy's wife Eleanor (1885-1961) hated him in life, and pursued him even in death. From her death in 1961 until 2002, Eleanor travelled about the Firmament insulting Mandy's spirit. Desperate to escape the hounding, Horace Mandy returned to Earth on April 23, 2002 as a house fly, currently buzzing around a kitchen in Pittsburgh, PA. Still, he cannot escape, according to a California psychic, who claims that Eleanor's spirit has been reinacranted as a fly swatter.
