Background - Nine Inch Nails lunched a full scale US tour in spring 2000 called Fragility 2.0 (1.0 was the Europe tour). They got Maynard Jame Keenan's (Tool) side project "A Perfect Circle" as support. Tickets $45 Canadian

When the tour was anounced in spring 2000, Monteal was not on the list.I heard about it when 99.9 The Buzz started to play promo's for the show. My sister and I got 3 Tickets the day they went on sale.. I got the money to go to the concert by selling magic cards and some of my old hockey gear. Me and my sister and her friend took the bus to monteal because my dad was to lazy to take us. After hanging around Montreal for a while, the doors opened and we went in and took our seats (I have not gotten seats at a show after that, I like the floor better). First was A Perfect Circle. They put on a good show, which was somewhat mellow and proggressive. They sounded good live but I did not know any of the songs they played other than the last (Radio) song "Judith" because the album was not out yet. Next was the almighty Nine Inch Nails. They used "Pinion" as intro music before lunching into "Terrible Lie". The show had a well balanced set with great lighting and effects. A highlight of the show was when they lowered 3 masive video screens which played sceens relevant to the song. Trent only spoke to the crowd once, thanking then for their support after all this time. NIN left the stage, but of course can back for a encore. They ended with "Hurt" and enough strob lights to make you have seizures. Over all, the show was great and as powerful as it was visualy spectacular. I would love to go again.
