| About the Class Calendar and Student Responsibilities 8A United States History |

| The information on this page is useful (hopefully), but limited to only major assignments. Students, however, are required to be aware of smaller assignment due dates and of any missed work. To do this students must utilize the "What Did You Miss" board located in the classroom. On this board is a calendar that describes the assignment for each day, when it is due, and provides any needed handouts and directions. It is updated daily and students always have acess to it. It is the students' responsibility to do the following (I will not do it for them): 1. Students must check the "What Did You Miss" board on the day they return from an absence. 2. Students should write the assignment(s) down in their agenda (to be carried at all times) and get any papers they need from the folders. 3. Students must ask Mr. Hatch any questions they have about the assignment and arrange a due date for the make-up work. 4. Students must turn in make-up assignments by the determined date in order to recieve full credit (2 days for each day absent is the standard aggreement). Students may not always have homework in my class, however, they will have homework at least 3 times a week on the average. If your son or daughter never has homework from history, something may be up. |
