It appears that he emmigrated to America with his older brothers and sisters in 1824. They probably lived in Ausable Forks New York with his brother Willian Daniel. Michael moved to Wisconsin in about 1848. Michael then moved to Toledo Iowa in abt 1864. He followed his brother in law Horace Day,Tama grain and livestock dealer who moved to Tama in 1863. Horace was married to Rebecca Beaman first and then to Julia Beaman.Rebecca Beaman ,Adelia, Rebecca and Julia's mother also lived with the Day's.The Day family is all buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Tama Iowa
