Tiller Tamer & Tiller Extension
Made from, what else, PVC pipe and polytarp. Has held up to 20 mile winds.
Tiller tamer made from rope and two pieces of bungee. The rope was slid into an old piece of mountain bike inner tube to keep it from sliding. There is a small plastic horn cleat on the bottom side of the tiller that the rope jams into. The bungee allows small adjustments and it can be quickly pulled out if needed.
The tiller extension is made from PVC pipe and an assortment of screws. There was already a hole through the tiller.
Motor Carrier
New 3 piece hatch boards (unfinished)
Cockpit Table
Made of 3 pieces of plywood hinged together. One of the pieces is like a second hatchboard. It will be finished with spar polyurethane. The hatchboard piece is already finished.
This is 1/2 inch plywood and will be finished (unstained) with Minwax Spar polyurethane. The bottom board in this picture is already finished.
"Galley"
Made from 3/8 plywood and covered with polyurethane. There is a hole in the top where the propane canister fits into to keep the stove from tipping over. The cutout in front of the stove is for seasonings, etc. There is also a drawer. It is made to fit into or on top of a Rubbermaid storage bin. It has non-skid on each corner. I attached angle brackets to stove to keep the pot from sliding off.
"Bow Roller"
This was added to the trailer to help get the keel over that front roller when loading on a steep ramp. So far, so good.
This stays on the boat all the time. This if forward end. This is aft end. The ends of the bows for the bimini fit into these fittings.
