Lyman Snow Hassell (Jack) and Thelma Turley
were
married in Colonia Dublan, Chihauhau, Mexico
on 5 Aug 1927.
Thelma Turley was born on 26 May 1908 in Blanding, Utah, USA.
Thelma was the Daughter of
George Albert Turley and Ida Belle Farnsworth.

Jack and Thelma lived in the Mormon Colonies
in Chihauhau, Mexico. All of their kids were
born there,
in Colonia Garcia, Chuichupa, and Juarez.
Jack and Thelma had 8 kids of their own
and *adopted a baby girl.

- 2. Lela May Hassell was born on 24 Mar 1930.
- She died on 1 Mar 1933.

- He married Merna Jackson in 1953. They had 2 kids.
- 4. Ida Ludean Hassell was born in 1934.
- She married Richard Gerald Proctor in 1952.
- They had 5 kids.
- 5.Theda Ruth Hassell was born in 1935.
- She married Larry Gene Smith and had 6 Children.
- 6. Marvin Ellis Hassell was born in 1937.
- He married Arlene Grissinom and had 3 children.
- 7. Klella Hassell was born in 1940. She had 5 children.
- 8. Verlee Hassell was born in 1944.
- She married Kendall A. Tait. They had 5 Children.

- I was adopted by Jack and Thelma in 1966.
- I have 3 Children and 3 step-children.

Jack and Thelma have both passed on.
Jack died on 25 Mar 1984 in Klamath Falls, Oregon,
where he had been in a rest home.
Thelma died on 15 Jul 1976 in the
Kane County Hospital in Kanab, Utah.
They are both buried in Fredonia, Coconino, Arizona
where they had lived the last 25 yrs or so
of their lives on Dobson St.
