CAPRICORN                        22 DEC -  19 JAN

Monthly Overview
Because you march to the beat of your own drummer on June 1st through the 3rd, your time is best spent contemplating the meaning of life or creating avant-garde artwork on these days. Achieving a lifetime goal becomes your full focus on the 4th, 5th and 6th, causing you to exhibit quick-tempered behavior when things don't go exactly according to plan. There's a way to accomplish what you want to achieve without turning into a complete tyrant, Capricorn, and it's up to you to figure it out before you completely alienate the people who care about you. You shouldn't have a problem attracting new people to spend time with on the 14th and 15th, but your tendency to shut everything out on the 20th and 21st could make it difficult to maintain new friendships. The chemistry between you and a stranger can't be denied on the 22nd or 23rd, so go ahead and say yes to a proposition on the 24th, 25th or 26th -- if you have any intention of misrepresenting yourself in any way, however, keep in mind that your conscience won't let you tell a lie on the 29th and 30th.

Capricorn Year 2003 OVERVIEW:
The first weeks of the New Year are generally your best time. The Sun is in your Sign until January 20th, enabling your material ambitions. This year, your ruling planet Saturn goes direct on February 7th, and since it happens with the Sun in Aquarius, your successful run is extended at least through the 19th. Restraint is no longer a major part of your stability. As March begins, change and beautify your world from a position of strength. Natural materials and ingredients give your work the ring of authenticity.

The party ends abruptly at the Vernal Equinox. Just as you sweep into your grand finale, people remember prior commitments and drift away. As the days grow longer and brighter, you'd do well to wear hats and sunscreen. By April 21st, your community is knitting back together. Nature themes run strongly through the lives of most Earth Signs. Beginning May 15th, Mercury retrogrades, allowing three prime weeks of recycling and Spring-cleaning. A conflict of interest slows you down and makes you anxious toward the end of this period, but it won't keep you from what must be done.

Late June finds you in a precarious situation. You're close to what you want and a little afraid of getting it. You may distract yourself with harmful habits or actually waste time, which is completely against your character. If you spend more than a month in this place, the Leo Sun will make you even more restless and harder to contain. Sanity prevails, and motivation returns by August 26th as Pluto goes direct. Your dark side enters the light for rehabilitation. After Labor Day, you have a minor brush with fame, although it shouldn't go to your head.

Seasonal changes don't seem to agree with you, because you face a new dilemma by the end of September. You could fall back on self-destructive behavior, or you could look the issues squarely in the eyes. Throughout October, the stars give you many opportunities to manifest your desired reality. It all clicks into place around the 24th, when the Sun enters Scorpio. Normally on the conservative side, you're a revolutionary firebrand by November. Luckily, the Lunar Eclipse of the 19th and Venus going direct on the 21st will save you from getting too harsh in your zeal. Let the growing holiday spirit warm your heart. The Sun returns to Capricorn right after the Winter Solstice, bringing your year to a triumphant conclusion.
