2002   Received a US Institute of Peace award ( www.usip.org )to conduct research on JIRGA, the Pukhtoon Tribal Institution for peace building and community based development.

2003   Attended a one week course on MIS in PARD.

2003   Student of PhD program in the International Relations Department at Peshawar University.
