Was it as good for you as it was for me?

Petey shook in satisfaction, and groaned.  (Yes, peacocks can groan...sort of.)

Yes, I know, its difficult to get used to, at first, but eventually youll open up to trying new things, Adam said, and patted Peteys head.

The pair sat against the fence of their pen staring at all the mud pies they had made, and both were proud of the quality of their creations.  We really should do this more often, Adam said as he stared at one of the pies.  You know, Petey, youre my new best friend.

Petey turned his little peacock head to Adam, and blinked.

Yup!  So Im gonna let you have my hat, Adam replied, and he took off his paper hat and placed it carefully on Peteys head.

Petey, just cocked his head and cawed, then ruffled his feathers.  He looked quite silly in the paper hat, but Adam of course looked sillier in his lime green Gnopal robes.

Actually, Petey, I think Ive lost the faith.  Its time to find the world another Gnope.  I mean, sure, now that the word has spread, and gnomes are everywhere, I could easily take over the world, but its just lost its luster.  Thanks, Petey, for showing me that its the simple things in life that make me happy.  Adam then sighed, and slipped off his lime green toga and gold belt.

Petey then nestled his head under Adams arm, and Adam patted the birds head again.  No, no need to comfort me.  I will survive.  Ive always got my baby doll heads.  And if I ever decide to come back to the world of the gnomes, it wont be that hard.  Ill only have to make a post on the GD!

Moving his head out from under Adams arm, and standing up, Petey displayed his feathers, and strutted around and cawed.

No, showing off isnt goodyoure right, this is just going to have to be the end of it, once and for all, Adam said, and shed a single tear.  He then stood up himself, and left Petey alone to strut, and made his way back to the Navigator to tell the guys he had changed.

Meanwhile back on another part of the Ranch

Brian stared at the large table, and then at Sasha, So this is really 300 years old?  Wow.

Yes!  Isnt it a lovely antique? Sasha said, sitting in one of the chairs that sat next to the dining room table.  Every piece in our house is antiques.  I collected them all back in St. Cloud.

Sitting across from her, Brian agreed that is was really pretty, and admired the shine it still had.  I guess you all polish it every day?

Oh yes!  Why back in St. Cloud, Mother taught me how to shine it up perfectly!  Sasha beamed.

Ahhyeah, mothers can be really helpful sometimes, Brian said, not sure what to say.

Lets stop beating around the bush, Sasha whispered, with an ominous tone in her voice.

Huh? Brian asked.

I learned a lot of other things back in St. Cloud.  I know your secret.  How much will you pay me to keep it quiet? Sasha asked him, getting down to business.

Oh the porno soundtracks?  I dont care anymore if anyone finds outit wasnt so bad, really, Brian replied, taking his glasses off to polish them.

Not
that one, Mr. Yale.  The other one.
