Update September 03, 2003---
My plans to use Monday to add new material did not work as well as I wished. I still haven't quite finished the Punic Wars, but the Second War has now been added to the first. Everything will be delayed untill the school library begins to check out books (our school does not assimilate well with computers). Anyway, there is some new news regarding the Latin Club in the "Club Related" section. Don't forget, the first meeting is on Thursday, September 18, in room A307 after school. Please arrange rides to pick you up after the meeting. I will soon have some links in the link section. Check them out!
Update August 29, 2003---
Good news! I've got a new layout (if you haven't noticed), and I have the entire weekend to add content. I hope to finish the Punic Wars in the history section, and then I'll put a myth or two up. I'm currently reading The Republic. When I finish it, I'll write a review under literature and write a short tidbit of information about Socrates in the philosophy section. The cartoon isn't going well; at the rate I'm going, I'll finish it by the beginning of 2004. Hopefully I'll be able to get a tablet before then (that would make cartooning much easier). As soon as I'm able to check books out from the library, I'll do a few more articles. I should use the public library sometime....

Update August 26, 2003---
I am currently working on a cartoon for the humor section of the site (which I intend to add soon). I appologize for the unfinished article in the history section, but I've been busy with homework and what-not. If I ever get around to learning CGI or PHP, I will try to incorporate it somehow into the site, but for now all I can work with is HTML. This weekend, I will work on a better layout and add more content (with luck). If the computers are ever activated, I might be able to work on the site from school, during free time.
Update August 22, 2003---
I'm trying to get everything up and running, but it's a slow process. My school schedule has finally been fixed (I hope), but it required me to give up one of my classes. I was asked to make a choice between World His/Geo AH or LatinIII. Of course, I'm not about to quit Latin, so now I will be taking CIS instead of World His/Geo AH. Anyway, the article is up in the History section, but I'm still working on it. The forums are now up as well, but I hope to find a better forum provider somewhere.
Update August 21, 2003---
It is almost time to go back to school. I hope I'm ready for it. I have become fond of sleeping late and being lazy. Sigh... oh well. As for the site, I have finished a working layout (I never said it would look good)and that history article is on the way. I'm trying to tie up all the loose ends before school consumes my time.Have fun looking around! Most of the site is still under construction, and the forums are not up yet.
Update August 19, 2003---
I'm back from vacation! I went to the beach once again. Though I saw several jellyfish floating about in the tides, I didn't get badly stung. As for the site, I hope to have a working layout ready by September 10, 2003. Frank might help with the designs of the layout, but it is not yet confirmed. I am currently preparing to write the first entry for the history section of the site. You can expect a link to it sometime in the near future. I might move this website to a different host, as well. Don't worry though, everything will turn out fine in the end (I hope).
Update August 09, 2003---
I will not be able to update the site this week. I am currently gathering content, and working on a layout for the beta version of the site. I am hoping to recruit a friend to help me with the graphics and html, but I don't expect him to join the site full-time. Anyway, I expect the site to be up and running at least by the time school starts. Thanks for visiting... please be patient with me since I am only starting out with html.
