ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Production Support (Sustaining Engineering Tech);
I was on assignment for Adecco Technical at Motorola as a Sustaining Engineering Tech. on "D" shift where I was the sole Engineering support for production. My duties were to identify any faulty components by date code and remove them from the floor and warehouse, monitor the yield of the test stations and turn in any that were not meeting specs, correct any documentation errors including production build instructions and test procedures, stop the build of kits (boards) that developed problems passing test, anything that caused the kits to have 3 similar failures or fall below a yield of 90%. Because of the lack of other departmental support on "D" shift I also worked with Solder Technology, Mechanical Assembly, Machine Maintenance, Supplier Quality, and Documentation Control. I wrote Manufacturing Emergency Memo's to correct what I was allowed; and held samples and documented the failures for the "A" shift to follow up on and come up with a permanent solution.

Engineering Technician;
Design: Modified the Hardware and Wrote the Assembly Language Software for a Microprocessor based Controller which interfaced a Burroughs Main Frame Computer Peripheral Control Cabinet to the Data products Printer Interface Standard. Built Prototype Cards from Rough Schematics and Wrote the Software to Test part of a 100 Line Central Office Switching Equipment Design.
Production: Modified the Design of Smart Terminals and Printers to reduce the Failure Rate and the Repair Costs. Setup New Product Production Lines and Resolved Technical Problems with Old Production Lines; including the Test Sets.
