PORTED and TUBULAR
Ported headers will give improved spool and power.
Independant tests on Mark 2 ported headers only, showed considerably earlier spool over tubular aftermarket headers, but power output without a remap was to within 5bhp of the best tubular headers on a 2003 WRX Project Car with a modified Hybrid TD04 turbo from Andy Forrest.
As a result of further flow bench testing we now supply Mark 3 ported headers complete with purpose designed uppipe.
The Mark 2 showed good gains over standard headers and far superior torque, spool and response over tubular headers and the Mark 3 with uppipe shows even more gains especially top end.
OE headers and uppipe can be ported on a exchange basis.
