I have long wanted a small dog to train. When I met Heidi Fellner's tri-colored Sheltie bitch, Carley, at a herding clinic, it was love at first site. After coming out here for a few lessons, I knew that I had to have one of Carley's pups when she was bred. My waiting paid off, and Lily joined us in September of 2004.
A bundle of black and white energy, Lily has taken our lives by storm. Her outgoing personality and her striking good looks make an impression wherever we go. We've recently begun her formal training, and she shows lots of potential in herding, obedience and agility. On sheep, she is quiet, wide and responsive. In obedience, she is quick and intense. I am having a bunch of fun trianing her, and look forward to the day when we compete together as a team. |
