Freedom or REBELLION
(Page 3)
How would God move someone from a ministry? This answer depends on circumstances, for example sin. A person may be led by the Holy Spirit to leave a ministry if the minister gets into blatant sin. In this case, after first going privately to the minister in question with the concerns of sin, if the minister is still unrepentant, going back to the minister with two or three elders of the ministry and the minister is still unrepentant, a person may be led to leave. First I would like to point out the private then semi-private communication concerning the sin. This is the Biblical approach to sin whether it is a minister or not.Secondly, I would like to mention that even in that case the Lord may not lead a person to leave a ministry for a variety of reasons such as prayer, etc. If a person is led to stay they still have to submit to the authority or they are moving into sin themselves.
Another Biblical way the lord would lead a person to leave a ministry is calling. How do you know it is the Lord's calling? Most Christians would say, "Because I have a personal relationship and i know the voice of the Lord". Is this the Biblical way God leads a person from their ministry? Not according to the Word of God. God's approach to leading a person from their ministry is accomplished through the leadership of the ministry the person is already submitted to.
The Biblical mandate is found in matt18:16
"take with you one or two or more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established".

Every prophetic calling must be judged by the leadership to establish the truth of the calling or the word. Once the prophetic calling/word is agreed upon in the Spirit, it is established by two or three witnesses for the validity of the word. This confirms the inner witness the person should be feeling inside to matchthe word and then the leadership would lay hands on them and send them forward to fulfill the calling of the Lord as an extension of the ministry.

Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "now seperate to me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them". Then having fasted and prayed and laid hands on them, they sent them away.

This type of checks and balances helps stop the enemy from deceiving people and pulling them from the ministry that God has called them to submit to.
Restoration

Before the return of the Messiah for His bride, the Spirit of God will begin a work among the church to restore these broken familial ties. The Bible has many scriptures on this subject but for discussion, I will only point out a few. In these Scriptures, I would like to point out that the verses can be used for natural parent/children restoration or spiritual parent/children restoration.

1 Cor 15:46 ...the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.

I will be showing these scriptures in the light of spiritual parents, keeping in mind that they apply for any broken relationships between natural parents/children as well.

1 Cor 4:15 For though you might have ten thousand teachers in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

I want to note the distinction between teachers (instructors) and fathers. It is true that a Biblical teacher can be a spiritual father to a believer, the disconnect comes when people leave their spirtual fathers and go to another ministry to be instructed by another minister. The minister (teacher) may be godly, but he is not their spiritual authority.

2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

The word of God teaches that in the last days, before the return of the Messiah, God will restore the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers.

Mal 4:5 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse".

Those who are truly led by the Spirit and the Word of God who have fallen into the sin of rebellion by breaking covenant with their spiritual fathers will be led back. Those who refuse will "turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables" leading the person to being under the "curse of the Lord".

One last scripture I would like to show. In Isaiah 60, God shows what the Glory of the Lord will bring during the last days when the Spirit of God moves on His church.

Isa 60:1 Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darnness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes all around, and see; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.

I pray now for all of those who have been deceived by the enemy into breaking covenant with their spiritual authority under the so called banner of "freedom". This is not true freedom at all, but bondage to the sin of rebellion. True freedom is the freedom from sin, not the freedom from spiritual authority.

Holy Spirit, raise up the spirit of Elijah in true prophets to declare the word of the Lord of restoration to spiritual fathers. bring them back in repentance under true Biblical submission in Jesus name!
