Midsummer is the longest day of the year and is celebrated in honour of the Oak King, The God, and The Sun itself.  It is a time to fully enjoy the warmth of the sun and commune with nature.  To the Celts, the warming and healthful effects of the sun were closely related to water therefore solar shrines are commonly seen near sacred lakes or springs.  Midsummer is also a great time to tap into the male energy and spend time on business and career.  This is the time of year to really focus on our passions in life.  A life without passions is a life without a purpose.  Take time to truly understand your passions and revel in creativity for it is through our passions that all things are possible.  Take a moment to open your eyes to the bounty and beauty in life and see the intensity of living and loving.  It is through life and love that things that once seemed impossible can suddenly become real.
