The game kicked off with both teams looking to get the quick start and take momentum in the match. At the beginning of the first half Omega struggled to keep the ball out of their half for long periods of time, and they were let off as City Church hit the post within ten minutes. A couple of hard tackles went in from Omega, particularly Ozan, trying to stamp their authority onto the match.
Omega began to play some smooth football and Fran was released down the left channel where he magically drifted into the box to set up Trevor only for the keeper to pull an amazing save. This resulted in a throw in near the corner flag, which Aaran took and looked long to Trevor in the box who managed to nod home, amazing coming from the shortest player on the pitch. This is becoming somewhat of a routine for the Omega boys.

SECOND HALF
In the second half Omega realized the importance of the victory and it was there for the taking. This improved the quality of the football by some way and the whole second half was literally end to end stuff.
A host of chances went begging for both teams with each goalkeeper pulling off some lovely saves. Damien was also forced into making a remarkable tackle to recover from a previous error to keep Scott going into further action.
As Omega smelt the victory coming with one minute to go, goalkeeper Scott was called into action and pulled off a very important save, which surely sealed the 3 points for Omega.
From the resulting corner a scary and bizarre moment as the City Church keeper hit the bar with a half volley, which was the last kick of the game. A hard fought victory for the Omega boys.

MAN OF THE MATCH:
Scott Powell - When called into action, he delivered the goods consistently. Well and truly done his job and a second consecutive clean sheet as rewards.
