Hera is the Queen of the Gods/Goddess of Birth/Motherhood

She has Black Hair and Brown Eyes. She is the first daughter of Cronus and Lysinda, making her both the wife of Zeus and his oldest sister.  Her first child was Ares, whom Zeus was very pleased to have.  However, her second child Hephaestus, did not get such praise.  Zeus saw him as being ugly and so threw him off the slope of Olypmus.

At one point Hera held Zeus's love, however, she blames Artemis
(Zeus's and Leto's child) of taking that love away from her and therefore has always felt hatred for her.  Not only because of her way to steal Zeus's heart, but also because Artemis is the most fair of the Goddesses.

For this reason, and others Hera decided to 'Degod' Artemis, meaning that Artemis is no longer considered a Goddess nor can she enter Olympus on her own, until Hera decides to lift the 'curse' she put on her.

It is believed that if Zeus were to intervine he would be able to lift said curse on his own, but no such action has been made.
