 In 1991 Tweeter, who was about a year old, accompanied us to Pennsylvania for our parents 50th wedding anniverary. He handled the plane ride without any problems. He was such a gentlemen and behaved quite well, considering his "wimpish" nature.
Poor Tweeter lost his mate due to illness and he bonded to Fred. They share the same aviary (not the same enclosure) they're adjacent to each other. Fred is ever-so-guarded and vigilant when it comes to Tweeter. If you have to handle Tweeter, Fred doesn't like it and shows his disdain with his glaring red flashing eyes. We got Tweeter another mate, he only tolerates her but shows no interest in her otherwise even though she looks just like his old mate. (Sorry for divulging your age Tweeter)
