Finding a top quality SE mare to breed to Shimmy has always been on the cards but it was hurriedley bought forward to this year in case Shimmy lost his latest battle with chronic infection. Trawling the studbooks led me to Pheonix Park and I feel extremely lucky that Jamantha was available. We were able to bring her home almost immediately and she showed interest in Shimmy within days! We are now pleased to say she is in foal to Shimmy for a March 2010 foal.
Our future is now looking a little brighter!
