James C. Brumfield Family Cemetery
The James C. Brumfield Family Cemetery is located on Sand Creek alomst directly across the Guyandotte River from the former town of Gill in Lincoln County. It is surprisingly accessable , but a truck is the recommened vehicle for the trip. By following a right fork in the road at the beginning of Beaver Pond Road for about a mile, one will find the cemetery tucked into a bottom along the river to the right. There were seven unmarked graves in this cemetery.
