You may buy down your generation down to 10th gen. with freebie points at character creation. If you want lower than that (no lower than 8th), you must submit a backround. Backrounds must contain a detailed description of who your character is, where were they born, how they were before they were Embraced, who were they Embraced by, why they were Embraced and what they've been doing since then. We want to know what kinda person your character is and a good backround will help you roleplay your character better.
You may write a backround at any time for your character. If you submit it before you play your character, there is a chance that you may recieve points for it. If you are writing a backround for points, it better be a good one. By a "good one" I mean that if you give me a few pages on your character and what he/she has been doing and what they are all about you may be rewarded for a job well done, I don't mean 10 pages of crap for points.
Its sad that there has to be a section on this, but as the ST's see it, there's been a lot of needless arguements in other games lately. Here is our rule: you get one chance to argue a night. If it happens more than once you will be asked to leave. Arguing over a rule call isn't cool because you hold up the game and just make things harder for everyone else. You can express your opinions over a rule call later on, but during a game, either except it or leave, its your choice. Remember guys IT"S JUST A GAME, try and have fun and let other people have fun too.
Write-ups are due the Wednesday before game, by 6 p.m. After that, you may still send in a write up, but you will not recieve the XP for it. Also, if you don't send in a write-up at all, then you won't be spending XP that month, it will be banked and you can try again next month. Write-ups should include a short summary of what your character's been doing all month, what his/her short term and long goals are. If you don't put it in a write-up then it didn't happen. If you forgot to feed this month and start off game in Frenzy, its your fault. Send in a write-up.
