How many Daughter's of Cacophony does it take to change a lightbulb?
None. It's her fault to begin with and she's already forgetten it's happened.
The Sabbat is about freedom. They believe that Cainites shouldn't have to hide their existance to the world and therefore have a much less structured system wheh dealing with mortals. There is no such thing as the Masquerade in the Sabbat although that doesn't mean that they all just run amuck through the streets burning and pillaging whatever they can find. Most Sabbat realize that mortals would have a major problem with finding out there are demons amoung them (which if you think about it, thats what vampires would be percieved more or less). Mortals are the feeding stock for Cainites and therefore have to be taken care of. The Sabbat is policed by the Black Hand unit, a personal militia group for the sect. The Sabbat is ruled by the Lasambra and the Tzimisce, but all clans are welcome to join. Don't be mislead though, the Sabbat is also about loyalty, and if you betray them there are dire consequences.

Here are some rules for creating a Sabbat character:

1) Most Sabbat are not on the Path of Humanity and those who are get quickly changed soon after joining. If you are not on the Path of Humanity you don't get the three freebie dots in Conscience/Conviction, Self-Control/Instinct, and Courage, you just get the 7 points to put into those. You may buy more if you so desire, but you only start out with 7 points.

2) The Sabbat don't start off with the 5 points in Backrounds at character creation. That doesn't mean you can't buy them with your freebie points or later on with XP, you just don't get those 5 automatics.

3) Just like in Faith and Fire, you get to start off with 4 levels of Disciplines instead of the normal 3. In our game you may not stack those up past the two basic levels. For example: Bob is a Lasambra. He may start off with two levels of Obtenebration, one level of Potence and one level of Dominate or he can decide he doesn't need Dominate and start with two levels of Obten. and two levels of Potence. You can buy up the other levels with freebie pts. or XP, but no stacking beyond basics.
