Hermione Granger Interview
Recently, we caught up with none other than Hermione Granger. She graciously accepted to let us interview her. The following is the interview we had.
(Key: HG=Hermione Granger HPA=Harry Potter Avenue)

HPA: Before we begin I just want to express how grateful we are for your agreement to let us interview you.
HG: Oh, it's really no problem. I'm actually quite flattered that anyone wants to interview me.
HPA: Really? I mean you're such an accomplished person, with an interesting lifestlye...
HG: Thank you. Although I still can't understand...
HPA: Well, should we begin the questions?
HG: I'm ready when you are.
HPA: Okay then. To start things off... What was your initial reaction to your receiving the letter of acceptance to Hogwarts?
HG: I was quite astonished. I didn't know what to think. It looked very professional and realistic but at first I thought it was some kind of joke. It was hard for me to accept that a world like the wizarding world existed. I don't think I was as shocked as my parents though. They really didn't believe it.
HPA: Question two: What was your life like before Hogwarts, schoolwise?
HG: (laughs) I wasn't all that popular. I didn't have any famous friends...but I was always top of my class which I treasured more than a full lunch table, or getting picked sooner than last in gym.
HPA: Well, we think it's very important to value education over popularity too.
HG: I'm glad some people see eye to eye on that with me.
HPA: (laughs) Okay, on to question three. Hmmm...we wish we knew we were going to meet up with you today. Atleast then we could have prepared a list of questions.
HG: It's okay, I'm in no hurry.
HPA: We still don't want to waste your time. Okay, how about... How did you feel going to Hogwarts first year?
HG: Well, I was obviously scared.I didn't know anyone, which was a real drawback, and I was very lucky to meet the people I did. I tried to hide my uncertainties and fear that day, but I don't know how well I did. My basic goal was just to be there, try to make friends and not turn into a mess of emotion. (laughs) I don't actually remember how scared I was though...
HPA: We can definitely relate on how it feels to be in a new situation and not know anyone. All right, question four. This may seem very personal, so we understand if you don't wish to answer it but... Any secret crushes at Hogwarts?
HG: (laughs) Oh my! Well, you're right, it is a bit personal, but I guess being a "celebrity" and all, I should expect these sort of things. How to answer this correctly? Well, I do find certain individuals at Hogwarts quite...attractive, maybe even handsome... however I will not disclose anyone's name.
HPA: Well put. Okay, this is another personal one. What about Viktor Krum?
HG: Oh Viktor! Well, Viktor and I did have a little relationship going. We still remain very good friends, and I write to him once in a while, but we are not currently dating, due to the difficulty we had to mantain a long distance relationship and several other factors.
HPA: Thank you, Hermione. We had a pleasure speaking to you.
HG: The pleasure was all mine. I hope to speak with you both again, sometime soon.
HPA: We are sure that can be arranged.

Draco Malfoy Interview
Okay, we were fortunate enough to meet up with another well-known Hogwarts student. He even agreed to an interview (and you say Draco's bad...). Well, here it is. Once again, HPA is us. DM represents Draco Malfoy.

HPA: We are very excited to be conducting an interview. Thanks so much for sharing your time.
DM: Well, I had nothing else to do...
HPA: Umm...anyway, what do you say we start the questions?
DM: Fine by me.
HPA: Okay, 1st question, did you ever have any doubts you would make it into Slytherin?
DM: You must be joking! Do you do a comedy act? Of course not! All Malfoys make it into Slytherin, the only worthwhile house. I have proved to be no exception, as everyone knew I would.
HPA: All right...next question. We understand you aren't...how do we phrase this...to friendly with Harry Potter. Is this true, and why?
DM: Who would like him other than that street rat Weasley and horse-faced Hermione? In my opinion Potter gets much more attention than he deserves. Just because some fluke happened with him and Voldemort, and he wasn't turned to dust, people worship the ground he walks on. For goodness sakes he's a bloody Gryffindor. He's a mockery of all Slytherin stands for and more importantly all I stand for. Potter...what a joke.
HPA: Oh, well then...any crushes at Hogwarts?
DM: None to speak of. No one quite seems to fit my high status. Now, if you excuse me, I've grown tired of your endless chatter. Good day. (We heard some other mumbling which we were unable to interpret.)
