| Great posters. Before the movie came out I saw the first poster in the movie theatre and I got really excited and peed. Well almost. In the middle one, Harry looks like hes going to kill you and in the last one he looks really funny with those bushy eyebrows, but I would take those over his perfectly waxed ones anyday. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| O'Henry's Review: Nothing can be better than the book. That is true in Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone movie. I did enjoy the movie a lot. I was very excited during the movie when I first saw it, but afterwards I didn't think it was that great. But I gave it a chance and now I have seen it a lot more. It does capture most of the magic of the book, but some things are left out. Thats OK. I guess. The movie is funny, exciting, and it definitely changed peoples lives. In a a good way I hope. I have seen it so many times that I can not pinpoint what this movie lacks. For me, it just scratched the surface of the greatness of the first book. But that is because I read the book first. The acting isnt too great for the kids, but the other adult actors make up for it. Alan Rickman is Snape and does a really clam job. The movie does get the audiences attention when new things are introduced because everything is filled with so much wonder and amazement. Sorcerers Stone is a light hearted movie and does not really touch on the emotions Harry felt before he decides to go down the trapdoor- the fear of Voldemort and the determination to stop him. All in all I think this movie is spectacular and I dont think that much could be changed for the better.
