| Merpeople |
| A race of amphibians, that probably originated on the coast of Britanny. They swam up to Cornwall, and there they got there name merpeople (mer+sea in french). From Cornwall they spread up to the west coast of British Isles and around northern Scotland to Scandinavia. Merpeople live in and beneath the sea but can make themselves at home on land too. Most mermaids are strickingly beautifull, blonde with long tresses and have large green or blue -green eyes. Their skin is a pearly white, with a silvery sheen when it's slick with seawater. Arms, breats, shoulders, hips and waits are all in perfet proportion. Mermen are stalwart, swarthy, hirsute, and muscluar. Both sexes are human above the waist and fishlike below, with large tailflukes but no dorsal fins. They are capable of transforming their fishlike nether region into human lower limbs so that they can walk on land whenever they please. Merpersons do not have souls, they are vain, jealous, and unforgiving, the have some degree of supernatural power, and they are probably imortal. |
