Dementors leech all happiness from anyone around them, forcing them, after prolonged exposure, to recall constantly their worst memories. A Dementor only reveals its hooded face in order to administer the dreaded "Dementor's Kiss", with which it drains the very soul from its victim, leaving him a mere husk; alive, but soulless, a fate worse than death. | ||||||
