| A chicken egg hatched beneath a toad would produce a gigantic serpent possessed of extraordinarly dangerous powers. The serpent is a brilliant green and may reach up to fifty feet in lenght. It has very venomous fangs but the most dangerous weapon of the Basilsik is its eyes. Anyone who looks directly into its large yellow eyes will be instantly dead. The male Basilisk has a scarlet plume upon its head. Basilisks are uncontrolable except by Parselmouths. |
