MSV REDUX

This is my re-design of the inner panel to the MSV. Sort of a modern update if you will. I used spray adhesive to affix it to sheet styrene, then replaced the cardboard image with said styrene. Before gluing it on, I suggest sealing the paper with a spray sealant (shellack, or polyeurothene, I used Krylon Crystal Coat---It was what was on hand.

The Grey block in the upper right-hand corner is where I put the handset from the SOTW radio that came with the Field Command Center Boxed Accessory set. Pops out with little trouble, plus the antenna already broke off. I cut mine down to one plastic wire instead of the forked design it originally had.

The ladder looking things to the left of the keyboard and to the right of the computer screen are adjustment switches for toggles. I used cut down pieces of Q-tip sticks for the toggles and super-glued them on. I also used Q-tips for toggle switches to the left of the computer screens.

The three gray circles on the right are where I used Jelly cord for Headphones and a Mouse. I was going to use the third for a keyboard, but decided to just put it on the sheet rather than have a seperate piece.

Have fun with this, it took me about six (AAAH!) hours to complete on my paint program. Time flies by and all that...It really didn't seem like it took that long.

I'll post some more printables when I get the time. And be warned this is a large image file, and takes 2 parts to print.
