I fell in love with the city and eventually bought a flat there, renovating it and installing a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom. It is not huge, but it is filled with lovely furniture, extremely comfortable and fantastically located just next door to Place des Vosges, in the heart of the Marais.
I lived there for three years before work took me abroad, and loved it. My first tenant also stayed for three years, loving every second.
