SPORTS REPORT 2005/06 The range of activity has increased rapidly throughout the year. With many teams and individuals reaching increased levels of performance. TEAM SUCCESSES 2 trampolining teams have won the town competititions. KS3 girls at the end of 2005 and KS4 boys in the autumn term 2006. The under 15�s girls football team won the Rugby Town FC tounament. The under 14 girls rugby team won the bronze medals at the youth games. The Under 15 cricket team were joint indoor county winners and county outdoor winners. The U13 boys basketball team are town champions. The U13 girls netball team were runners up in the town league. U12 and U15 girls were runners up in town rounders league. The U12 and U14 boys football teams reached the 4th round of the national schools cup. Individual successes. DISTRICT SPORT Many students continued to perform well at district level in a variety of sports and for the first time there was a county/district netball academy, with the following all attending:- Mary Beth Machile Ellie Tarrant Daisy Folkes Janina Marshall Kathryn Reynolds. 10 Boys have reached district football standard. 5 boys have played district Rugby. 3 Boys competed for the town at the County championships in athletics.
