| George G. Newton - Enlisted in Co. G, 8th Missouri Volunteers, and served in Hunter's Missouri Cavlary, and in the Jackman's -7th Missouri Infantry. He drew his pension listing Hunter's Missouri Cavalry. Ended the war as a Sergeant. He is buried in the Wood-Rush Cemetery off of Hwy. 221, south of Berryville |
