B, 16th Regiment, Tennessee Infantry as a private. Involved in fighting at Perryville, campaigns from Murfreesboro to Atlanta, surived Hood's Winter operations, saw action in North Carolina, and Chickamauga. Buried in Ward Cemetery, Carroll County Arkansas, beside his wife. |
