| Thomas Maple Carter - mustered in as a Corp., Company G, 25th Tennessee Infantry. Regiment finished organization in August 1861 in Overton County, Tennessee. The 25th TN Infantry fought at Fishing Creek, Perryville, Murfreesboro, Chickamauga, Drewry's Bluff, & Petersburg. They ended the war at Appomattox Courthouse. He also is the Ancestor of Arthur Carter, a member of our camp, who recently passed away and is buried in the same cemetery. He drew a pension in Carroll County, Arkansas |
