CONCERNING CHRIST:

PROPHECY: Seed of the woman:

Genesis 3/15
15.And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.

FULFILLMENT: Seed of the woman:

Galatians 4/4
4.But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law.

1 Timothy 2/15
15.Not withstanding she shall be savedin child bearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Revelation12/5
5.And she brought forth a man Child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her Child was caught up unto God, and to His throne.

PROPHECY: Born of Mary a Virgin:

Isaiah 7/14
14.Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

35.And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: Therefore also that Holy thing which shall be borned of thee shall be called the Son of God.

PROPHECY: Son of Shem:

Genesis 9/18 & 19
18.And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.

19.These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

Genesis 9/27
27.God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and canaan shall be his servant.

Matthew 1/1

Numbers 24/17
17.I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold Him but not nigh: there shall come a star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

Micah 5/2
2.But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah though thou be little amoung the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from ever-lasting.

FULFILLMENT: Of the tribe of Judah:

Matthew 2/6
6.And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, Art not the least amoung the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, That shall rule My people Israel.

Hebrews 7/14
14.For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

PROPHECY: House of David:

1 Chronicles 17/11 thru 15.
11.And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

12.He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.

13.I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:

14.But I will settle him in mine house and my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

15.According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David

FULFILLMENT: OF THE HOUSE OF DAVID:

John 7/42
42.Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh
of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethle-
hem, where David was?

PROPHECY: Triumphant entry into Jerusalem:

Zechariah 9/9

ass.

12.On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

13.Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet Him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel, That cometh in the name of the Lord.

14.And Jesus, when He had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,

15.Fear not, Daughter of Zion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.

PROPHECY: Judas Betrays the Master:

Psalm 41/9
9.Yea, Mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, did eat of My bread, hath lifted up his heel against Me.

Zechariah 11/12 & 13
12.And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not,forbear. So they weighed my price thirty pieces of silver.

13.And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prise And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.

FULFILLMENT: Judas betrays the Master:

Matthew 26/14 & 15
14.Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot went unto the chief priests,

15.And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver Him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

Acts 1/16
16.Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

PROPHECY: The suffering of Jesus:

Isaiah 53/1 thru 12
1.Who hath believes our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

2.For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.

3.He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.

4.Surely He hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.

5.But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

6.All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

7.He was oppressed, and he was afficted, yet he opened not His mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not his mouth.

8.He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare His generation? for He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was He stricken.

9.And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10.He hath put Him to grief: when thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see his seed, he shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of The Lord shall proper in His hand.

11.He shall see the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied; by His knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities.

12.Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong: because He hath poured out His soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

FULFILLMENT: The suffering of Jesus:

Acts 8/32
32.The place of the scripture which He read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before His shearer, so He opened not His mouth.

Matthew 27/26
26.Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.

Matthew 27/28 thru 31
28.And they stripped Him, and put on Him a scarlet robe.

29.And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before Him, and mocked Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews

30.And the spit upon Him, and took the reed, and smote Him. on the head.

31.And after that they had mocked Him, they took the robe off from him, and put His own raiment on Him, And led Him away to crucify Him

Matthew 27/34 & 35
34.They gave Him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when He had tasted thereof, He would not drink.

35.And they crucified Him, and parted His garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments amoung them, and upon My vesture did they cast lots.

PROPHECY: Christ's hands and feet pierced:

Psalm 22/16
16.For dogs have compassed Me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed Me: they pierced My hands and My feet.

John 2/27
27.Then said He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but
believing.

PROPHEECY: Death on the Cross:

Isaiah 52/8 thru 12
8.Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.

9.Break forth into joy, sing together,ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem.

10.The Lord has made bare His Holy arm in the eyes of all nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our Lord.

11.Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.

12.For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you: and the God of Israel will be your rereward.

FULFILLMENT: Death on the Cross:

Matthew 20/18 & 19
18.Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death,

19.And shall deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge, and to crucify Him: and the third day He shall rise again.
