| In the begining of oceanography people did not even know about the life under sea. They thought there was a big monster that was going to get you if you went in the water or that they would fall over the edge of the world. They would just catch the fish in shallow water, after doing that for several times they saw that there was not as much fish as usuall. So they decided to go out there and get more fish. They would go out there with pieces of wood tied together. They realized that they could travel this way, it would be easier and a shorter distance. They also realized that they could trade with other countries by going over seas. |
