Artist: Paul McCartney Date: 3/93 Location: Anaheim Stadium Review: This was the very first concert that I attended. I really had no idea what to expect. My parents really weren't Beatles fans, so I didn't know how framilar I'd be with his music. This tour was in support of his "Off The Ground" album. The only single out at the time of the concert was "Hope of Deliverence". A few weeks after the concert, I bought the whole album and the only other song I liked was "Biker Like An Icon". During the performance, there was a really cool laser-light show during "Live and Let Die". "Hey Jude" also made a wonderful finale, where he asked the audience to join in. Overall it was a great first concert experience. The only bad thing about the night was the fact that my car wouldn't start because of a dead battery. |

Artist: Michael McDonald Date: 7/98 Location: Irvine Meadows Review: He was the "special guest" for Stevie Nicks that I saw. It was really great to hear him sing the Doobie Bros. songs and his solo hits. The only thing that bothered me about his performance was the fact that he used to be a big name, now he's opening for one of his peers. Sometimes t's so sad to see a fallen star.
Artist: Stevie Nicks Date: 7/98 Location: Irvine Meadows Review: Great concert! This was the tour that supported her boxed-set "Enchanted". It was great to hear some of these hardly-heard songs, along with the usual favorites like "Stand Back" and her Fleetwood Mac hits "Dreams" and "Landslide". I was also really impressed by the new arrangement of "Whole Lotta Trouble", she performed it like an alternative song, instead of the bluesy-rock/pop version I'm used to hearing. |

Artist: The Devilns Date: 9/18/98 and 9/24/98 Location: Arrowhead Pond and Greek Theatre Review: I remember liking the group when I heard them and I also remember wanting to explore them more, but months after I got their cd and I was really disappointed. I coldn't even remember what I liked about them.
Artist: Tori Amos Date: 9/18/98 and 9/24/98 Location: Arrowhead Pond and Greek Theatre Review: This was my first Tori concert and I really enjoyed it! She performed a lot of songs that I recognized. I enjoyed it, I just wish that I wasn't sick when I went to go see it. |

Artist: Maceo Parker Date: 4/99 Location: Universal Ampitheater Review: I really didn't care for this act. I spent most of his set outside waiting for Ani DiFranco to begin her performance
Artist: Ani DiFranco Date: 4/99 Location: Universal Ampitheater Review: My first time seeing her. I liked her energy, I just wish that I recognized more of the songs. At least she sang some songs from "Little Plastic Castle" so I wasn't totally lost. |

.Artist: Alanis Morissette Date: 9/25/99 Location: Irvine Meadows Review: Great performance! The only problem that I had with this concert was the audience. She performed after Tori and it seemed like half the audience left after Tori's set. I remember enjoying the concert, but none of the songs stands out.
Artist: Tori Amos Date: 9/25/99 Location: Irvine Meadows Review: Yay!Tori played my favorite (Professional Widow). ;'nuff siad |

Artist: Stevie Nicks Date: 12/29/99 Location: House Of Blues Review: My favorite thing about this concert was that she really didn't have a record to promote, so the concert was mostly her hits. Also I seemed to notice the difference between the audience at this one. These people seemed to be more die-hard fans. |

Artist: Hamell On Trial lDate: 4/18/00 Location: Universal Ampitheater Review: Really cool guy! Kinda has a folk/rock/punk style of music, mostly talking his way through songs. After this concert I went on a quest to buy all his CDs.
Artist: Ani DiFranco Date: 4/18/00 Location: Universal Apmitheater Review: I can't remember anything at all about this concert. I remember enjoying myself, but beyond that, nothing |
